CD replication: A new business in the market!

For storing data, CDs are the best methods which are extensively used by students and officials who want to save a soft copy of their important documents or files. Moreover, it is a very cost effective and efficient manner of saving data for a longer duration. CDs generally store a maximum of 700 megabytes of data which can be easily accessed. Due to its beneficial features these CDs are always in demand. This has led to CD replication also which has now become hugely popular concept in the CD market. What is more interesting to see here is the fact that this method is been misunderstood and is wrongfully assumed to be cloning. This has insisted many big companies to take some serious awareness missions so as to educate people regarding the benefits of CD replication method.

In the recent past, the CD replication industry has shown great improvement in their products and services. If we talk about the technology, it seems to be a very simple one but quite expensive as the equipment used are highly advanced and automated. If you are little confused about the method of CD replication then let’s understand in simple terms what it means. Well, CD replication is the process in which multiple copies are produced from the single master copy. This is why it is defined as the process of making multiple copies of CDs with the same information and similar prints. Usually, these CDs are made in mass volumes. This process is not restricted to CDS but DVDs, mini discs, business cards and other storage devices are also replicated, which are often used for personal as well as official use.

With CD replication the other activity which goes hand-in-hand is CD packaging. Packaging of CDs is a very important activity as this can actually entice the customers to buy them. In fact, it is taken as a very effective marketing tool by most of the companies who are into CD business. The businesses are very innovative and showing great creative interest in the making of attractive packaging options. If you are interested in buying CDs make sure you look for the CD packaging options as well. Today there are environment friendly packages available which are made of high quality material like Jake box, DigiPak etc. Nowadays, there are many companies who are entering into this business to meet the growing demands.

DVD Duplication and CD Replication: Easier Way to Add Up Your Collection of CDs and DVDs

There are times when people are looking to get end number of copies of their favourite movie or family photographs and give them away to the relatives and friends. But, it proves to be difficult to attain copies of DVDs at faster pace without facing any financial hurdle. For people looking for solutions to such issues, duplication of DVDs is the answer to their worries.
DVD Duplication is the process of reproducing optical media through copying. It generally stands for generating discs in small quantities. The overall content of the DVD is copied on an existing recordable DVD. The process of duplication goes as firstly, the DVD media is loaded onto the burners thereafter, which the information is extracted through digital means from the original master that are then transferred to a blank disc. Followed by this process, the information is then verified after which the disc either accepts or rejects the copied version. However, with the advent of advanced and improved technologies, people could even get more than 1000 copies of DVD at much faster pace and at cheaper costs. The process certainly proves beneficial to those individuals who are involved into producing music and video products.

On the other hand, replication is the standard process of making large numbers of copied discs. If it’s about CD Replication, then people could certainly get more than 1000 copies in quick of seconds without any obligations. Replication is the process where a glass master of the information stored on the disc is made that in turn process stampers. These stampers are basically used for injection moulding of the information onto the disc. Thereafter, a layer of polycarbonate Plastic is covered on the disc to protect the information and then it is lacquered, screened and finally sent for packaging.

Notably, there has been a great demand for the replication of CDs in Japan, Australia, Germany, and America and across the world. The business of replication has certainly witnessed a recent upsurge in demand for its quality products and ultimate services. Moreover, at the same time, the replication process is not restricted to only CDs; it can also go ahead with DVDs, mini discs, business cards and other storage media.

Therefore, people looking for number of copies of their marriage DVD or birthday party’s video CD then can easily look out for any retail shop providing high quality replication and duplication services at affordable prices.

DVD Duplication and Replication: Ways to Achieve Multiple copies of Discs at Faster Pace

In this era of advanced technology, everything has become possible within a quick of seconds. Today, disc production is touching new heights in the market with its advanced technology. Since, it is an economical and manageable means for large data storage and distribution, so it is gaining huge popularity across the nation.
There are several ways to add numbers into the production of discs. Firstly, it is DVD Duplication process and is basically known as ‘burning’. Here, the data is imprinted into recordable DVD-R media using a small laser found in drive burners or duplication machines. The DVD media is then loaded onto the burners. Thereafter, the information is extracted from a master piece or source via digital means and then it is transferred onto the blank disc. The process is then followed by the verification process, thereafter, it’s up to the disc either to accept or reject the disc depending on the originality of the content. If a person is looking out for the multiple copies ranging from 500 -1000 of a DVD, then duplication is the preferred choice.
The duplication process certainly proves to be the fastest, cheaper and convenient process to get the products available in the market.

The second procedure working towards disc production is known as DVD Replication and is also called as a pressing method. It is basically a standard procedure to develop a large number of copied discs. Since, it is a professional manufacturing process, so here the raw material runs through large disc-moulding machines that produce the basic DVD. Thereafter, glass masters are created from the original master source provided by the client. Then the data is actually stamped or pressed onto another disc. After which a protective layer of lacquer is rolled onto the disc and then it is prone to the hardening process using ultraviolet light. The process involved in replication is basically automated. The process is basically used for manufacturing discs in large quantities starting from thousand copies.

One can easily differentiate between the DVDs that have gone through Duplication or Replication by just judging the disc’s surface. A disc that has gone through duplication will be having purple colour underneath as the dyes have been found below the reflector. On the other hand, the replicated discs will be silver underneath because of the aluminium that has been used to coat the disc.
However, the main difference between the two is the manufacturing process and the time required in the process.

CD Replication: Helps in Generating Multiple Copies of a Compact Disc at Cost Effective Prices

There are times in the life, when people need to look out for a way that help them in producing end number of copies of a compact disc without any obligation. In a solution to this problem of many, CD Replication service proves to the most efficient form of process that helps in producing more than 1000 copies of a compact disc at mush faster pace.

Replication of a compact disc is basically a process of producing multiple copies of a CD using the original master copy or directly from an attached computer hard drive. However, one needs to be careful about the high quality of the original CD as during the replication process some quality is lost, so in order to attain the same results as the master pieces, the original CD should excellent in quality.
Replication process of a CD generally involves number of stages. Firstly, the pre-mastering stage where the actual data meant to be transferred into the new CD is prepared. If the information is stored in the master CD, then it has to go through reading and imaging. Replication done through hard drive, needs the data meant to be transferred should be arranged and structured accordingly, so that it is easily read and understood by the CD reader. Secondly, the glass mastering stage where the information is transferred onto the glass to create a ‘master disc’. This process also helps in protecting the original masterpiece from getting damaged. Once the disc is prepared, the date is then transferred onto the glass master using either photoresist or dye-polymer mastering using a laser technique. During photoresist process, blue/ultraviolet light is utilized to expose light sensitive materials on the disc. While dye-polymer process does not use photosensitive materials and the pits are created directly onto the glass master by focusing a red laser on the particular area of the disc.
Thereafter, in the final stage, the glass master goes through post mastering procedure to ensure the protection of the stored data in it. Here, the disc is baked further making the surface harder, thereafter, the disc is electroplated and electroformed to further toughen it.  With the end of this procedure, new CDs could be replicated.

On the other hand, DVD Authoring is the process of collecting various content assets such as video, audio, photographs, subtitles and menus and then connecting them together followed by burning them to a master DVD disc. The assets are generally produced in a variety of applications such as video editing, post-production, image editing and subtitling. Thereafter, they are compiled in a variety of applications such as Ulead Movie Factory on the PC or DVD studio Pro on the Mac. Moreover, the process of authoring the DVD is more like building a website.
